Pooooost!
Still writing. Realized I actually needed to start the story about a chapter earlier and include a prologue where in Important Things Happen but my main five characters aren't involved except for a brief cameo for one and a single mention of a second. Said prologue is now 7,925 words long and I'm not done with it yet. Why must my plotty things be long?
On the plus side, I've got about 31 arbitrarily numbered chapters outlined and I've got large swathes of that already written. I just need to get it in order and fill in the gaps.
Taking a break at the moment. I'm adoring the webcomic Gunnerkrieg Court, despite being nowhere near done reading it. It's a boarding school SF/F with a gothic feel to it. It starts when new student Antimony Carver notices she's gained a second shadow...
